More people than ever are being driven to food banks and the sharp increase in people needing help is outstripping food donations.
Over 40% of the food distributed by Wirral Foodbank is donated by the public – that's why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
What to donate

- Tinned fruit
- Tinned meat
- Tinned potatoes
Warehouse donations
You can bring your donations, or arrange for an online delivery, to our warehouse during our opening hours.
- In–person donations can be delivered to our warehouse Monday – Thursday, 10:00 am – 1:30 pm.
- For on–line shopping, please quote our warehouse address. Please note on–line deliveries must be arranged Monday – Thursday, 10:00 am – 1:30 pm. You can use your regular supermarket or shop from our Amazon Wish List.

Donation points
You can donate items by leaving them at donation points at the following locations. Your donations will be delivered to us, where we’ll pack them into emergency food parcels.
Please note – collection points at Tesco and Asda stores are intended for food that has been purchased in–store. Any food that has not been purchased in these stores and placed in the collection points should be bagged and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.
