The Foodbank is run by local people for local people – we rely on the community’s support to ensure we can continue to stop people going hungry. Can you invest in the future of our project and help us provide much-needed support to people in crisis in our community?
Your donations help us support the provision of emergency food and advice support services via our Foodbank Plus project. Foodbank Plus is delivered on our behalf by Citizens Advice Wirral. In the last twelve months Foodbank Plus has supported 2,628 people, who were helped with 4,528 issues. It delivered £1,052,532 of financial gains, including debt write off, benefit entitlements and other support. Emergency food is at best a temporary fix; it is only by addressing the root causes can we begin to end the need of foodbanks.
